Department of Digital Media

The Department of Digital Media at the College of Media – University of Gilgamesh was established in 2024 and officially commenced its studies in the 2024–2025 academic year to keep pace with the rapid developments in communication technology, digital media, and new media. The department is concerned with preparing specialized media professionals equipped with scientific knowledge and modern technical skills in digital journalism, content creation, interactive media, and digital platform management, in line with labor market needs and digital transformation in the contemporary media environment. The department adopts a modern educational environment that combines theoretical and practical aspects through hands-on training and the use of digital laboratories and studios to develop students’ creative and innovative abilities and qualify them for work in various media and digital institutions.
